Rivet nuts are widely used in the assembly of motors and light industrial products such as cars, aviation, railways, refrigeration, elevators, instruments, furniture, accessories, etc. It is developed to deal with the shortcomings of thin metal plate and thin tube welding nut, easy melting of the base material, easy welding deformation of the base material, slippery internal thread during tapping, and firm riveting. It is efficient and easy to use.

Quality inspection of rivet nuts

1. Screw the rivet nut into the threaded mandrel, apply it to the specified guaranteed load, and keep it for more than ten seconds. Rivet nuts must not come off or crack. When the load is removed, the rivet nut should be screwed out by hand, perhaps after lightly riveting the nut. During the test, the speed of movement of the chuck shall not exceed 3 mm/min. During the test, if the threaded mandrel is damaged, the test will be abandoned. The hardness of the threaded mandrel should be 45HRC. The thread tolerance is 5h6g, but the large warp should be controlled within a quarter of the lower limit adjacent to the 6g tolerance zone.

2. Screw the rivet nut into the threaded mandrel and apply a load until it cracks, which should not occur at the junction of the head and the cylindrical part; the load value should meet the specifications. During the experiment, the speed of movement of the chuck should not exceed 3 mm/min. During the test, if the threaded mandrel is damaged, the test will fail.

3. Rive the rivet nut to the rivet mounting plate and screw in the quiz bolt without any smoothness. Apply torque until the rivet nut cracks or the threads loosen. The torque measurement error of the torque testing machine or tool used in the experiment shall not exceed 2% of the maximum additional torque. The thickness and holes of the riveted plate shall comply with the specifications of the maximum riveting thickness h and d0 or s0 recommended in the product specification.
